the lost soldier the ultimate price to pay

saturday aug 16th 2008 i made the ride into gatlinburgh tennessee its definetly another tourist trap people all over the main street the lutheran church had an outside service and a meal i ate pretty good i guess i have a 15 mile climb to the top of the smokey mountains i guess about a 5000 foot climb altogether it was a fairly easy ride to day but at times dangerous very little shoulder and heavy traffic but not a bad climb sunday august 17th 2008i spent the night in gatlinburg and did some partying and lastnight came to a bar named blaines 22 dollarts for a pitcher of vodka and lemonade its time to get into north carolina its kind of crazy as i ride thru this country and look at the obesity of the american people i wonder what the percentage of over weight american people is its a beautiful day and its beautiful up hereas i begin to start my climb up over the great smokey mountains i met a man in this bar from cincinnati who was aware of matt monday aug 17th 2008 well i partied good lastnight its another beautiful morning and time to head over the smokeys
