the lost soldier the ultimate price to pay

the date is friday august 15th 2008 i made the ride into knoxville tennessee the great smokey mountains and the blueridge are next here is your baptist people at there best while laying on the grass by a baptist church by chapman highway and severville pike a lady came out and said you cant rest on church property so i came back north on 441 to a baptist church with a baseball field out back named meridian baptist church i will pitch my tent and get out of here at day break i didnt spend anytime in knoxville i couldnt get to an episcopal priest or methodist pastor i went to both the episcopal cathedral and the methodist church close by both you had to push an intercom button to talk to someone not a good sign from those two christian organizations as i rode thru the crack area of knoxville the crack-whores and the people on the street looked dirty despirate and confussed the area not far from the episcopal cathedral and on highway 441 south its all i needed to see to know kno0xville was a waste of time iam still not sure the direction i will head after north carolina and the blueridge mountains this bicycle needs a serious tune-up its been another day of long rolling hills the shifting system has taken a pounding the last couple months saturday august 16th 2008 well its another beautiful day in the state of tennessee i pitched my tent out behind the baptist church and went to sleep with out any hassle iam about 60 miles from the state of north carolina and the blueridge mountains i made the ride into pigeon forge tennessee a fairly easy ride from knoxville i saw a little more litter along the road then i expected people just throw bags of garbage and leave it iam at the hampton inn updateing this is definetly a tourist trap ive got to go up aver the smokey mountains to get to the blueridge but from the looks ahead of me shouldnt be to tough ill go to mass tonight and get out of here tourist traps dont interest me and thats all this place is
