the lost soldier

the date today is wednesday jan 16th 2007 and iam at a holiday inn in wynonna minnesota that sits on the corners of 61 north and 14 west i start posting this journey yesterday its a chilly morning in the state of wisconsin today jan 15th 2008 i made the ride into prairtie du chein and then crossed over to the iowa side and rode the mississippi river into lansing iowa it was a hilly tough ride the catholic priest in lansing put me in a motel for the night and he remembered me from my passing thru here 2 years or so ago iam kind of anxious to get into the state of minnesota iam going to ride the mississippi tiver up to the top from here its 61 north iam going to try and get a newspaper interview ran in the state of minnesota somewhere its supose to start snowing alot here in the next 24 hours it should make it easier to get matts picture in the paper it was a difficult bicycle ride from the iowa side of the mississippi where i crossed at prairie du chein definetly a test of determination a few miles from wynonna minnesota i stopped last night at a catholic church and talked to some nunns they called a deacon in the church who the churchs in this area suposedly give money to the police station to put poeople in motels the man went down with me to the police station and we talked to the police they said go to hell we use the money for womwn with children i had told the man that is what they would say he then put me in the motel it was good for him to l;earn the truth the christiam people have been very good to me but they support things they know nothing about which he learned and seemed to be glad to know the top of the mississippi river next
