The Lost Soldier The Ultimate Price To Pay

iam at the Best Western Riverfront Inn & Suites 752 Withers Harbor Drive Red Wing Minnesota yesterday i stopped at the Episcopal Church and talked with the priest trying to pull enough money to get into Minneapolis and i needed some clothes washed and i needed to earn money to eat on into Minneapolis and here is what happened he sent me to the Parkway Motel 3425 highway 61 west which is ran by either Iraqui or Palastine people then came down with a 25 dollar Applebees Card upon arriveing at the room the priest stated the lady who owned the motel would wash my clothes for me i stated no thank-you iam not asking a lady to wash my clothes i can wash then myself i went to Applebees and got a pasta meal for about 13 dollars good but way over priced for the amount i gave the remainder of the change to the waitress this morning got up and was talking with the lady at the motel sje stated she would of washed my clothes for me and iam sure she would of but it shows you at times where the christian peoples minds are at the priest didnt want to do the laundry himself or have his wife do it he didnt weant to take the time to take me to a laundry-mat and he didnt want to give me the money to do it -it was easier to state this guy on a bicycle in the winter needs his clothes washed i dont trust him with 5 dollars he might go by a beer and its a pain in the neck to take him to a laundry-mat so i will run you on a guilt trip will you do it i just washed stuff out in the tub and its time to get out of here it was a fairly nice ride along the Mississippi at times people out ice fishing but the road only follows the Mississippi a short while St.Pual and Minneapolis are next iam going to go down to both the Dorothy Day shelter in St, Paul and a shelter in Minneapolis and talk to the people on the streets there and get an honest opinion from the people on the streets as to just how much these places actually help the street people as compared to giving them the oppertunity to panhandle money for drugs and in the name of jesus feed then and keep then trapped in the area i will see if i can just eat shower and leave or will there be demands put on me something the christian people have never done it will most likely be difficult to get put in motels because the churchs will have the Dorothy Day Shelter to dump things off on up to this point its been easy to get into motels and the Catholic Worker House
