The Lost Soldier The Ultimate Price To Pay

the date is Saturday October 31st 2009 on highway 7 north its an overcast cloudy morning ive spent the last couple days rideing its been hilly at times and stressful roads with no shoulders and cars flying by ib a hurry to get somewhere i got into Vermont yesterday the leaves are pretty much off the trees as winter begins to arrive i guess iam in the green mountains both the catholic and episcopal churchs are locked up tight and both priests come from different areas the people in Vermont have been friendly so far but they seem to be caught up in their own little worlds 23 more weeks and one more winter to go it is now sunday November 1st iam at the holiday inn in Rutland Vermont its been a peaceful and easy ride up highway 7 north havent done much the last couple days but ride havent been able to find any good ole hole in the wall bars only restauranr bars no pitchers just pints my ride thru New York Connecitivut Mass and Vermont has taken me thru what appears to be majority white and jewish areas and a whole bunch of whining about socirty i still get questioned alot when people see my bicycle and backpack as to who the hell are you and why are you here after lake champlain iam not sure my direction but this journey will end April 26th 2010 at the gates of heaven ceremony in Cincinniti Ohio
