the lost soldier the ultimate price to pay

iam at christ episcopal church in mount pielier vermont its about 7 p.m. and the church is still open this looks to be a very quiet and peaceful little town ive just walked around and checked the area out women and young children are walking around and playing safely with no fear its a very clean and quiet downtown area for a state capitol while i was sitting on the front porch a police officer drove by and shined hids spot light at me and kept going i was greatful he didnt stop and hassle me i wont have my identification for another week wednesday july 2nd 2008 last night i slept in the episcopal church and this morning started on my journeys the bridge on highway 2 was out for a short while so i hopped on interstate 89 and made the 7 mile ride into waterbury vermont and went to the best western and ate their free breakfast and then stopped at st. andrews catholic church and talked to the priest he gave me 25 dollars to go on iam about 30 miles from burlington vermont and iam in the green mountains although they are more rolling hills like the blue-ridge ozarks catskills and poccono mountains its amazeing how much differently people respond to me based on where iam at this is a majority white middle class area no graffiti or litter and iam not dirty so i fit right in the state of new york and niagara falls are next then a return trip to keith and carolyn maupin
