the date today is january 1st 2008 iam at the comfort inn in edgerton wisconsin i have one more night here its starting to get cold and the roads are iceing up badly i still need to figure out how to come up with a dome camping tent the military issue given to me is a pain in the neck its needs to be staked and the ground is always frozen and its difficult to mpitch in the wind at dark here is something about the churchs i eally dont understand yesterday i went to a methodist church in milton wisconsin and talked with the pastor about my journeys and matt and what i was trying to do for carolyn maupin he asked me what i needed i explainned i needed a different tent one i could pitch i needed another light for my head and i needed to earn enough money to get into the prairie de chan area on the mississippi river instead he spends 160.00 of the christian peoples money on a motel for 2 nights i could of come up with all the gear i needed for alot less then that madison wisconsin will be my next attempt at getting matts picture ran in the newspaper the roads are nasty for bicycleing but i will make it all-in-all the people in wisconsin have been friendly the only hassle was with the wanna be john wayne police officer
