the date today is friday May 1st 2009 i made the ride into Sault St, Maire i got here wednesday night people in michigan call people who live south of the mackinac bridge trolls people north of the bridge are yoopers lastnight i got mixed reactions from people concrning my journeys one man offended by the freedoms and one gave me 20 dollars yesterday i stopped at pro-line automotive 6 mile and mackinac trail and met Kevin Pages Michael Pages, Cameron Stevens and Derek Causley they fed mme and gave me 20.00 for the road iam now at blessed Kateri Lekakwitha Catholic church the church is never locked i got here lastnight and contacted a deacon this church is on indian land in Bay Mills Michigan the deacon allowed me to sleep in the church the Upper-Penennsula of Michigan has been friendly so far ive just spent the last couple of days cruiseing around , checking out the area and discussing my journeys with the people down the street from this church is the danceing crane coffee house 12072 west lakeshore drive Saturday May 2nd 2009 lastnnight i stopped at the lumber-jacks bar in Strongs Michigan and met Steve and Pat they took me to their home we dtrank some apple-pie home-made squakie and did a bowl they let me sleep in their cabin its a beautiful but breezy morning in the state of michigan as i head towards Lake Superior
