the lost soldier the ultimate price to pay

the date is thursday april 16th 2009 iam in tawas michigan at the tawas motel the episcopal priest put me here for the night. it was a breezy ride as i finally hit the coast of lake heron. this is a beautiful peaceful area very little litter or graffitti. but its a fishing town a highly white area; people caught up in their own little worlds friday april 17th 2009 its another quiet brisk morning in the state of michigan there is a days inn just down the street. i will go there eat breakfast and leave i made the ride into escoda michigan it was an easy ride i went to sacred heart catholic church set my bike and back-pack up against the wall went across the street to burger-king got some coffee and the next thing i know the police show up hassleing me over what the hell are you doing here. run me thru an n.c.i.c. background check and follow me out of town it was a beautiful relaxing ride around lake heron just me and nature i made the ride into a town called harrisville and stopped at saint anns catholic church to talk with a priest about pitching my tent . they were haveing a meal i sat at the back and was waiting for a priest these old yankees kept looking at me like who the hell is this stranger and what is he doing here eventually i talked with a man about my journeys and he and his wife took me home for the night fed me washed my clothes let me sleep then took me back to the catholic where my bicycle was and dropped me off i came to the library to up-date there is a methodist church here and iam only 30 miles from alphia michigan the episcopalian amd methodist people are there . i will talk to the pastor here about figureing out where to stay or what to do i dont need to be in alphia until tomorrow the date is now saturday april 18th 2009 iam considering rideing what they consider the boot of michigan up the lake heron side and down the lake michigan side to ludington and catch the boat to wisconsin . and just get out of michigan its beenb a very difficult state to dael with a strange attitude from the people one i have not encountered thru out my whole journeys i will make my final decision on the upper-pennsula when i get to the mackinaw bridge
