the lost soldier the ultimate price to pay

iam in mc connelsburg pennsylvania the date is wednesday march 18th i got here a few houes ago the mtethodist pastor put me in the johnnys motel for the night it was a tough 30 mile climb up over the mountains in the room next to me is a man on a one speed oold bicycle with a mile crate hooked to the back with a sign that reads homeless diabetic with bad feet please help i aibt never seen that one before it is now thursday march 19th 2009 and i made the ride into somerset pennsylvania the memorial hasnt even been sraered its a brisk overcast day from here i will catch the allegeney passage into pittsburgh its a bicycle trail hopefully more enjoyable then the run katy trail in missouri iam headed from here into pittsburgh and then most likely into minnesota and the mississippi river its been a tough ride since leaveing lancaster but the people in pennsylvania have been friendly so far i picked up a r.e.i. gortex jacket at a thrift shop brand neww for 5 dollars iam going to go to the carholic church here and talk to the priest try to pull some work togeather and earn enough money to get out of pennsylvania ive been here long enough
