the lost soldier the u;timate price to pay
friday august 8th 2007 its time to leave paris kentucky its a beautiful morning and time to continue this jpurney i made the ride into lexington iam sitting in front of the hyatt regency on 27 south starting to get back into the diversity of the souththe last few months ive been in majority all white and clickish areas and outside of the bars not real friendly tennessee and north carolina are next its a beautiful day in the state of kentucky as i head for the blueridge mountains iam now at roberts chapel united methodis church on 27 south about 5 miles or so from lexington kentucky ive just ridden today its been a peaceful easy ride i pitched my tent behind the church iam done for the day i came up with about 50 dollars tptal for the ride i found a university of miami football leather jacket similar to the starter jackets but solid good quailty leather and winter lined at a good will for 5 dollars around a 250,dd jacket should come in handy as i approach this final winter saturday aug 9th 2008 iam in bryantsville kentucky check this out while rideing down the road i found some chore-boy and a glass pipe laying along side the road iam about 100 miles from the tennessee state line and the great smokey mountains the people in kentucky have been very friendly this real fine blonde haired kentucky hillbillie women keeps strutin her bootie around as i sit at this picnic table and write its been a dangerous and stressful ride at times only about 1 foot of shoulder on the road sunday aug 10th 2008 iam in stanford kentucky last night the baptist pastor put me in the sunset motor lodge its another beautiful morning in the state of kentucky from here its 170 south into mt.vernon and 25 south into tennessee i stopped at a methodist church and talked with a pastor about my journeys he gave me a 75 dollar wal-mart card iam sure i can use it for something i saw a couple black top amish buggies i waved at them got a wave back the amish are pretty cool people iam now in mount vernon kentucky i stopped at our lady of mount vernon catholic church and talked with a nunn she wasnt allowed to let me work or give me cash so heres what she did she called dennys restaurant and got it approved for them to cash a check and give me the change she wrote a 50 dollar check i ate 600 worth and they gave me the change it was an easy ride today alot of down hill the green grass of kentucky is kind of cool looking i also talked to a baptist pastor a keywood norris with crab orchard baptist church in crab orchatd kentucky he helped me with 25 dollars for the way i should be able to ride tomorrow tennessee and the great smokey mountains are next monday aug 11th 2008 iam now in london kentucky at the hampton inn they let me use the internet to update everything iam around 50 to 60 miles from tennessee i have about 40 dollars left on the wal-mart card and money on me these dry counties no budweiser its been another peaceful beautiful ride kentucky is a real cool state and a bunch of fine bootie strutin hillbillie women
