the lost soldier

iam in mount vernon illinois i got here this afternoon from here its 37 south into the state of tennessee today something pretty cool happened as i was rideing ny bicycle i saw this little tiny church about about 30 feet long and 15 feet wide it was built and dedicated for somw lady with polio i took a picture of it as i was leaveing a lady came up to me and we were talking about my journeys she gave me a 50 dollar wal-mart gift card i went to wal-mart bought some new shoes a pair of rideing pants and a lantern its a nippy day today when i arrived in mount union i stopped at a methodist church just to kick back there was a young lady with 2 young men stranded they had called the methodist and was waiting for him to arrive as we were talking they asked me do you think he will help us i replied if he doesnt no-one in this town will as i thought he did i guess iam only about 100 miles from the state of kentucky which is next i will try and get matts picture in a newspaper as i go its been a peaceful and relaxing last couple of day i got another card for carolyn maupin i will staart collecting signatures i didnt even attempt to do it in missouri i didnt want any signatures from anyone in that state
