the lost soldier

iam in a little town named columbia illinois at the first baptist church the pastor let me sleep in the guest house a good shower and a goods nights rest will do me good as i rode into the state of illinois i saw a sign that read bootlegging cigaretttes in the state of illinois is illegal something to the effect if thhe cigarette dont have the illinois state seal your butt would be in trouble a sign ive never before seen i took a picture of the sign cant ride the interstates in illinois like i was told so iam on 50 east trying to work my way down into tennessee kentucky and the blueridge mountains it is now tuesday and iam in columbia illinois this first baptist pastor let me sleep in the guest house lastnight and heres something crazy lastnight when he brought me into the kitchen to eat andd make coffee next to the coffee pot was a small container with maybe a couple dollars worth of quarters the pastor left and i took a bath when i was done he had came back and taken the quarter container i guess he thought i was gonna steal his little bit of change not alot has happened today iam still to close to st louis to get much cooperation the state of illinois will be my next attempt at a newspaper interview ran for matt todays mostly just consisted of rideing iam sure my journeys and posts will change when i get back into the south and its diversity
