the lost soldier

the date ttoday is saturday 20th 2007 and itss a nasty rainny day in st.johnsbury vermont as i make my way into burlington last time i came thru i went in a bar with a big picture of a young marine hanging on the wall that read just dont forget me thats what he told the lady if by by chance he was killed in iraq iaam fixin to leave st.johnsbury vermont the 2 days rest in the motel did me good iam now in a town called enosbburgh vermont looking for highway 3 from here its 78 north to highway 2 which will run the canidian border lastnight i stopped in a bar and did some partying people they were all in the back smoking some buds it took a short while for them to relize i wasnt a cop before we had a good time i also met this lady who was an artist and she drew me a real neat card of a moose and signed it i sent it to carolyn maupin while in a coffee shop i was talking with this man and his mom about my journeys and left while rideing down the road they had went and read the web-site and then came and found me and gave me 50 dollars the date is now october 23 2007 and iam in swanton vermont at the methodisr church useing a computer in a computer room its a nasty rainny day today i got into this town last night and went to the episcopalian priest house concerning getting my licence which i havent gotten from new hampshire yet he called the pastor where it was sent and it had appeared at his house he will overnight mail it to me i should get it tomorrow the episcopalina priest put me in the motel for 2 nights the leaves are all about off the trees now but the leaves are still real cool lookingiam still kind of anxious to see how much differently iam treated by the christian and american people as thanksgiving passes and christmas approaches the state of new york is next i rode thru the state of new york and not alot was worth talking about this will bring me as close as up todate as i can iam now in the state of indiana on my way to chicago illinois iam at a man and his wifes house who saw mwe inside a convenient store drinking coffe it was a nasty snowy night i talked to him and his wife about my journeys they left then came back and brought me into thier home and let me spent the night on this computer trying to atleast update this part of my journey iam about 100 to `50 miles from chicago illinois my next stop i will try and get matts picture in the newspaper in the state of indiana or illinois for christmas if i can it will be my christmas present for carolyn maupin
