the lost soldier

this is wher i start typeing the journey into the internet hopefully the notes i have taken will bring my memory back fairly well the beginning of the journey as i said started in florida around 3 years ago i rode from florida to maine and then out to ohio i went into a dnnys restaurant and was showing this waitress some photographs i had taken and explainned i was rideing in the memory of the victims of 9-11-01 and was going to write a book to prove the good outweighted the bad in the american prople and america was worth fighting for the lady asked me if i wanted a picture of the lost soldier i asked who in the hell is that the response brought instant tears to the young ladys face she handed me a picture of matt that read the lost soldier love never loses its way home i asked this young to write on the back of the picture anything she would say to matt if she could she wrote i love and miss you and pray for your safe return home from that point i did newspaper interviews in either hampton or hamilton minnesota janesville wisconsin rock springs wyoming logan utah pocatello idaho crescent city california i had the interviews all cut out and placed on paper an signed by people all over the area laminatd to send to carolyn maupin and they all got distroyed in rain now i send them directly to her its difficult backing up so far the best i can tell i will start this jorney back on novemer 7th 2007 and iam in fair oaks california iam sitting in front of trinity episcopal church on fair oaks blvd i rode down to the carls junior on fair oaks and madisonfrom here iam not sure how to get out of california matt has not been worthy of his picture being in a california paper i stopped at a st.john the baptist catholic church in folsom california and a man gave me 80 dollars so i could catch an amtrack to vacaville and try to get a hold of the kairos prison ministry people who would be the best chance to help me get on a train and get out of california you cant ride the interstates or highway 101 in california you cant ride 15 north or 9 west out of san diego here is also something i need to post while in santa clara californai i stopped at a place called city-teeams ministries just to check out what is was really all about as i was walking up to the front door i saw a sign that read if you sleep in the parking lot next door you will not be allowed in the courtyard the next day you will not be allowed in the court yard the following day you will not be allowed to eat or sleep here after talking to some of the people who stay there this is what i found out about how this place was run every business surrounding this shelter had no trespassing and no loitering signs the parking lot next door didnt i talked to the peopl,e staying at the shelter about the sign they said the man who owned the parking lot didnt care if they stayed there it was the people at city teams ministry that didnt want them to i thought why the heck would they care and this is what i found out you could go and eat and just leave but in order to stay the night you first had to go to church if you choose to not stay there you had 2 choices you could camp in an area that read no trespassing trespassers will be prosecuted or you could sleep in a parking lot where the man didnt care but the church ran organizaton wouldnt evenn feed you if you did thats a form of black mail the christian people have never used on me i had my stupid billfold stolen and i stopped at the calvary chapel in monterey california i was real irritated with the churchs i couldnt get any help from any of them i met a man named mike he took me over to the motel off highway 1 and got me a place to stay on the 22nd of janurary these people ordeed my i.d. for me which i had lost they got my identification and gave me some money to go california a very difficult place to get any support from churchs its virtually impossible to ride east to west out of california a man i met in california who was on one of my forums puut me on an amtrak train to tucson and gabe me 80 dollars to go now iam up to date the date is now march 21st 2006 and im in tucson arizona it was a rough
