well i had to come to the Holioday Inn in Eastgate to finish the manager ran me off back to my story one of the fireman took me home for the night his wife let me sleep on a couch in the garage and they took me out to a bar fed me pizza and bought some beer this morning Sunday April 25th i got up and went to the Church of God they gave me 50 dollars its an overcast rainny day as i begin the last 48 hours of this journey there is a baptist church on 6th street in Batavia ive got to figure out what to do for 2 nights well the Bible bAPTIST cHURCH Gve me money for a room the date is now April 29th 2010 iam at the Motel 6 in Beachmont Ohio the Methodist pastor gavce me money fora room and since i didnt have any identification the manager let me stay and put the room in his name i went to the yellowribbonsupportcenter there was no gates of heaven ceremony as i was under the impression Carolyn Maupin was not there Keith Maupin was the jacket i had signed from people all over the country was hanging in the yellowribbonsupportcenters office i thought the jacket would be worthy of hanging in Carolyn Maupins home the jacket had been thru hell Keith Maupin stated when i got settled down he would send me a copy of a painting he has hanging on the yellowribbonsupportcenter wall it was a long hard 5 years temperatures rangeing from +110 TO -20 below weeks without showering and days without eatting i went from 5 feet 11 aand 185 lbs to about 160 i did all i could to keep Keith Matthew Maupins memory alive i havent talked to Carolyn Maupin so i cant say for sure if i was a fool or not along the way many people stated i was i may go see her i may not i may wait until i write this book if i dont see her i may feel like i ended this journey with a kick in the face iam going to spend a couple days in Cincinniti as far as the journey and what i tried to accomplish was it worth it i truthfully dont know but i did all possible to keep the Soldiers memory alive so if i was a fool so be it if i dont see Carolyn Maupin this will be my very last post all-in-all i met alot of good people adios amigos iam done

iam at the Best Western Clermont 4004 Williams Drive Cincinnati Ohio on Sunday April 25th i went ionto Owingsville and stopped at the United Methodist Church the pastor lives next door but was gone i needed some clothes washed i9 went out back to a pavillion and was just relaxing when a lady showed up i explainned what i needed bvut the pastor wasnt around so i left while rideing down the road she stopped me and said she had called the fire department and i could wash clothes at the fire deepartment i went to the fire department they let me wash clothes and one of the fireman

iam at the Holiday Inn Express in Eastgate Ohio the yellowribbonsupportcenter is just across the street lastnight i went to i think it was called a Bible Baptist Church in Batavia Ohio they helped me with some money for a room but were kind of upset over some of my posts concerning christian organizations but like i stated its how i have seen things they were also upset over my posts concerning the responses ive recieved in the Cincinniti area concerning the yellowribbonsupportcenter stateing i should not post the truth becausr it was only my opinion ive been thru here 3 or 4 times and the response has pretty much been the same each time this most likely woll be my very last post depending on the outcome of the Gates of Heaven Ceremony it hasbeen a very difficult and tireing ride lastnight it rainned pretty good lastnight i found this biker bar and partied figured it was the right way to end a crazy and tireing journey all-in-all i guess i had a good time i feel sorry for the men and women over seas i have all the respect in the world for them the men and women who have served and died for this country gave me the right KEITH MATTHEW MAUPIN YOU ARE NOT GORGOTTEN REST IN PEACE Benjamin Alan Best The Gates of Heaven Ceremony are next

the date today is monday April 19th 2010 my notes are getting messd up and some crazy stuff has gone on letely so i will post iam at the Best Western Haus Inn 1013 west main street Ve Vey Indiana the female Methodist minister whom is a lawyer put me in for the night i went to Louisville for the thunder over Louisville alright i guess then I went and taljked to a United Church of Christ pastor a Ji,,y Watson 2608n Browns Lane Louisville Kentucky he took mme to a Schwinns Cyclery in Clarksville Indiana and they did a complete tine yp cables ect i then found a bar called Jerseys i left my bicycle outsyde and went in and partied a bit talked to a few peo[ple upon leaveing i noticed i had a flat tire so i just found a spot rolled my sleepingbag out and went to sleep the next morning got up and noticed my tire was flat upon checking it i found out the tire had been sliced and my wallet was gone out of my back-pack i went back to the bicycle shop explainned what happened and lets jist say they helped me Tuesday April 20th 2010 its been a stressful Crazy ride down highway 42 windy hilly no shoulder and heavy dump truck traffic iam at a bar called crystal lake fishing lake resort sitting out back on some picnic tables relaxing its been a dangerous ride today i made the ride into Union Kentucky and found a V,F,W 4 dollar pitchers of beer and people whining about society but all=on-all i had a pretty good time Thursday April 22nd 2010 iam at a Mc Donalds in Bethal Ohio not far from Batavia and the yellowribbonsupportcenter i was talking with some claim to be World War 11 Veteran and we were talking about his tyime in the service and all the heroic things he had done then he made the remark Keith and Carolyn are makeing a profit he stated they needed to leave all to rest i stated your still talking about Korea his response iam not talking to you any more and he left iam now at the Amelia Public Library he also whined about a pavilion built for Matt ive had alot of hassle each time thru the Cincinniti area

Friday April 9th 2010 its a beautiful day in the State of Kentucky ive just been kind of roaming the last couple days the grass is a beautiful green ive ran into mixed responses concerning the yellowribbonsupportcenter and the upcoming Gates of Heaven Ceremony which i will attend Saturday April 10th 2010 iam in a town called Walton Kentucky lastnight i stopped at the Main Street Station Pub had a pretty good time people seemed to of heard about my journeys got treated pretty good its a partying little bar yesterday was a crazy day of rideing hilly windy roads very little shoulder and cars flying by in a hurry to get somewhere its been a long long ride difficult at times but money cant begin to pay for the people ive met this will be my last post until my final post April 27th the Christian organizations were difficult to deal with but the Episcopalian Methodist Catholic Presbyterian Lutheran and Seventh-Day Adventist did pull me thru your Church of Christ Assembly Of God Salvation freaks werent worth throwing a rock at and the Baptist werent much better Adios Amigos iam done

its a nasty morning in the state of Ohio iam not staying in Cincinnati iam headed towards Toledo i came back to the Best Western to drink some coffee relax and decide just where to head as this journey finally winds down April 26th 2010 is upon me and almost here ive decided to finsh this journey in the State of Ohio Matts home state hopefully i wont recieve many scarastic remarks its been rough the last few weeks the christian organizations have been very difficult but i havent been able to get to the Episcopalinan people

iam at the Best Western 4004 illiams drive Cincinniti Ohio i got here yesterday afternoon and stopped at a bar in Batavia Matts hometown and once again ran into alot of scarastic remarks concerning my journeys i guess they built5 a pavillion in Matts honor got in a big arguemnt with one man who felt they were makeing a hero of matt and got a smart mouth remark from some old man stateing alot of soldiers were killed in Iraq and they mayy deserves no better the Lutheran pastor put me in the Red Roof Inn across the street amd i came here to use the internet and i will most likely come in for breakfast iam not going to spend any more time in cincinnati i had alot of hassles the last time also i will spend the remainder of this jopurney in ohio but iam going to head towards Toledo during the conversation with the Lutheran pastor he stated he was surprised i had recieved so much hassle here concerning Matt because the News Reporters always interved people with positive responses i stated the media would selectively pick whom they interviewed its an overcast breezy day in Ohio but i need some rest iam tired i will most likely finish the journey in Ohio all-in-all Kentucky was a little disappointing this time thru
